Basis weight
The weight of a fixed area of paper, in the US usually pounds per thousand square feet (lb/MSF).
In practice
A combined board's weight is the sum of its liners plus its medium, with the medium multiplied by the take-up factor of its flute. Box weight follows from blank area times combined weight.
