Corrugated box styles by FEFCO code

A box style is the shape of the blank and how it folds. The international case code gives each design a four-digit number; US practice adds names such as RSC and FOL. Packgent draws every style below from its own rule, so each drawing redraws at your size.

Styles by series

02 series: Slotted boxes

03 series: Telescope boxes

04 series: Folders and wraps

06 series: Rigid (Bliss) boxes

The 06 series covers three-piece boxes: two end panels joined to a body that forms the sides, bottom and top. The FBA notes the code calls these rigid-type boxes, because the box is rigid once its six or more joints are sealed.

07 series: Ready-glued boxes

09 series: Interior fittings

The 09 series covers the parts that go inside a box: pads, liners, dividers and partitions. The FBA notes that partitions give each item its own cell and are used mostly for glassware and other fragile goods.

Board use across the slotted family

Same inside size, 12 × 10 × 8 in, nominal blank without score allowances. The flap rule alone decides how much board each style takes.
