UFC Rule 41: what it covers

Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification is the rail counterpart of NMFC Item 222: it sets construction requirements for fibreboard boxes shipped by rail.

What to know

  • Box maker's certificates often cite Rule 41 alongside Item 222.
  • Packgent has not published its limits for the same reason as Item 222: they need checking against the current publication.
