FEFCO 0201 RSC vs 0200 HSC: side-by-side numbers
0201 (Regular slotted container) and 0200 (Half slotted container) differ in how the box closes and how much board it takes. A half slotted container is a regular slotted box with the top flaps left off, so it arrives open at the top.
Flap rules
| Part | 0201 RSC | 0200 HSC |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Outer flaps, top and bottom: W ÷ 2 | Outer flaps, bottom: W ÷ 2 |
| 2 | Inner flaps, top and bottom: W ÷ 2 | Inner flaps, bottom: W ÷ 2 |
| 3 | Manufacturer's joint: glue tab, about 1¼ in | Top flaps: none |
| Closure | Tape along the center seam, glue the outer flaps to the inner flaps, or staple. A fill-in pad between the inner flaps gives a flat floor when the product needs one. | Bottom taped or glued like an RSC. The top takes a separate cover: a slip lid, a second HSC inverted over it, or a telescoping cap. |
